Job summary

Southwestern Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a dedicated per diem Registered Nurse to provide quality patient care in perioperative services for all patient populations. You will work across PreOp, PACU, and cross‑train to the Operating Room.

Qualifications include RN license in Pennsylvania, 2–5 years in PreOp/PACU or Critical Care, and BLS/ALS/PALS; ambulatory surgical center experience preferred. Perks include health insurance and 401(k).

Southwestern Ambulatory Surgery Center – Per Diem Registered Nurse

We need a dedicated per diem Registered Nurse to provide quality patient care using the nursing and medical plans of care in perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN will work across PreOp, PACU, and cross‑train to the Operating Room.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in perioperative services.

Use the nursing process and organizational policies to deliver care.

Maintain patient assessment and care documentation.

Implement aseptic techniques and respond to patient condition changes quickly.

Collaborate with staff, patients, and physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• At least 2‑5 years of experience in PreOp/PACU or Critical Care.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certification.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
