Job summary

Southwestern Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an Immediate Part Time Registered Nurse to provide perioperative care across Pre‑Op and PACU, with cross‑training to the Operating Room. The ideal candidate holds an unrestricted RN license in Pennsylvania and has 2–5 years of Pre‑Op/PACU or Critical Care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in Pennsylvania.
• 2-5 years of experience in Pre-Op/PACU or Critical Care.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certification.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions when needed.
• Excellent team player with ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.

Responsibilities

• The RN delivers perioperative care across Pre‑Op, PACU, and will cross‑train to the Operating Room.
