Job summary

Summa Rehab Hospital in Akron, Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for a per diem/PRN role to deliver professional nursing care on our inpatient rehabilitation unit. You will perform assessments, care planning, interventions, and ongoing evaluations to prevent complications and support patients as they regain independence.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a current Ohio RN license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of accredited Registered Nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• One (1) year recent experience preferred. Acute care setting preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred in LTACH and Texas hospitals.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients within assigned unit. The role is also responsible for patient assessments, planning, supervising, interventions, and evaluations designed to prevent complications of physical disability, restore optimal functioning, and help the patient adapt to an altered life style.

We have a PRN opportunity for a Registered Nurse

Summa Rehab Hospital in Akron, Ohio (a partnership with Summa Health) is a state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation facility dedicated to helping patients overcome disabling injuries and illnesses.
