Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license required.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Ventilator/tracheostomy experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently in home-care settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled pediatric nursing care to home patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and document changes.
• Manage equipment including G-tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators.
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers and teams.
• Educate families on care plans and goals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Position Responsibilities

As a Pediatric Registered Nurse, you will:

Deliver skilled, individualized nursing care to pediatric clients in their homes

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and interventions

Manage specialized equipment, including G‑tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators

Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams

Educate and support families regarding care plans and treatment goals

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required

Pediatric nursing experience preferred
