Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse - Pediatric OR in Temple, TX for day and night shifts across full-time, part-time, and per diem roles.

The RN will provide direct pediatric surgical care, maintain a sterile OR, assist in intra-operative duties, monitor vital signs, and discuss procedures and postoperative care with patients and families. ADN or higher, RN license required; BLS/ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license required.
• Pediatric OR or surgical setting experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with standards.
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room.
• Assist in intra-operative nursing and technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about the procedure and postoperative care.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification preferred
• 1+ years of experience in a pediatric, operating room (OR) and/or surgical setting preferred
• Experience with pediatric medical equipment and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of healthcare professionals, children, and families

Responsibilities

• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room
