Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric ER in Neptune Township, NJ. Multiple shift options include day, night, and mid shifts; job types available are full-time, part-time, and per diem.

The role requires RN licensure, ADN or higher in nursing, and pediatric ER experience is preferred. Responsibilities include urgent pediatric care, trauma management, rapid assessment, med administration, code blue participation, care planning with physicians, and patient-family

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in a pediatric and/or emergency room setting preferred.
• Experience with pediatric medical equipment and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of healthcare professionals, children, and families.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for young patients who require urgent medical care.
• Treat pediatric patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions.
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether a patient should be discharged or arranged for a longer hospital stay.
• Educate patients, including children and adolescents, and their families about the patient's condition and care plan.

Salary: $70,920 to $117,990 /year
