Incredible Health is hiring in the Washington, DC area for a Registered Nurse - Pediatric ER. Shifts include day, night, and mid, with full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities.

Required ADN or higher nursing degree, active RN license, and pediatric/ER experience preferred; BLS/ACLS/PALS preferred. Benefit package includes healthcare, 401K, PTO, and tuition assistance. Salary ranges from $61,470 to $130,000 per year.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in a pediatric and/or emergency room (ER) setting preferred.
• Experience with pediatric medical equipment and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of healthcare professionals, children, and families.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for young patients who require any type of urgent medical care.
• Treat pediatric patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions.
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients, including children and adolescents, and their families about the patient's condition and care plan.
