Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring for a Registered Nurse - Pediatric ER in the Washington, DC area. Available shifts include day, night, and mid shift with full-time, part-time, and per diem options. Benefits include 401(k), health insurance, PTO, tuition assistance, and more.

The role requires an active RN license (ADN or higher) with pediatric/ER experience preferred. Strong communication with families and healthcare teams is essential.

Qualifications

• RN license active and unencumbered
• BLS/ACLS/PALS preferred
• 1+ year experience in pediatric and/or ER setting preferred
• Experience with pediatric equipment and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of healthcare professionals, children and families

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for young patients requiring urgent medical care
• Treat pediatric patients with trauma, injury or severe medical conditions
• Quickly assess patients’ needs and prioritize care
• Monitor health conditions, administer medications and operate medical equipment
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about the condition and care plan
