Incredible Health hospitals in the Washington, DC area are actively hiring a Registered Nurse - Pediatric ER to join busy emergency departments. Shift options include day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities.

Candidates should hold an ADN or higher nursing degree, possess an active RN license, and have or be eligible for BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Prior pediatric ER experience and strong communication skills are preferred to deliver high-quality patient

Qualifications

ADN or higher degree in nursing.
Active RN license.
1+ years pediatric/ER experience preferred.
BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.
Experience with pediatric medical equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first line of defense for young patients needing urgent medical care.
Treat pediatric patients with trauma, injury, or severe conditions.
Assess needs quickly and prioritize care.
Monitor health, administer medications, and operate medical equipment.
Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans.
Educate patients and families about condition and care plan.
