Incredible Health in Hackensack, NJ is actively hiring a Registered Nurse - Pediatric ER. The role offers day, night, and mid shifts, with full-time, part-time, and per diem options.

You will work in a pediatric ER, coordinating care for young patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, safe treatments.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered RN license
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certification preferred
• 1+ years of experience in a pediatric and/or emergency room setting preferred
• Experience with pediatric medical equipment and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of healthcare professionals, children, and families

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for young patients who require any type of urgent medical care
• Treat pediatric patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about the patient's condition and care plan
