Job summary

Cottage Health in Santa Barbara, CA, seeks an experienced OR nurse to join a high-volume surgical team. You will support trauma, ortho, neuro and vascular cases in a 15-suite operating room alongside skilled surgeons and staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a 15-suite OR.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain sterile technique, monitor patient status, and document care per policy.

Job description

The OR has 15 suites, including an intraoperative MRI performing vascular and neuro procedures. All ORs have Stryker integrated technology and all service lines have the latest technology. We perform approximately 700 cases a month and provide all operative services, except transplants.

• Must have 2+ years' experience in trauma, ortho, neuro or vascular cases in a busy OR setting.

Pay for non-physician positions is determined based on related years of experience and internal equity. Eligible employees may also receive additional forms of compensation, including shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonus opportunities, where applicable. Manager and above positions may participate in Cottage Health's annual management incentive program. Physician compensation is determined based upon specialty and may include bonus potential.
