Job summary

Incredible Health in West Palm Beach, FL is recruiting a Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown unit. You will monitor medium to high acuity patients, manage IV drips, administer medications and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver optimal care.

The role supports BiPAP/CPAP and other respiratory care, with a focus on accurate documentation and patient education for discharge planning. Day or night shifts available; full-time, part-time, and per diem options.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing
• Active and unencumbered RN license
• 1 year stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac or high acuity setting preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, monitor vital signs and IV drips
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and equipment use
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records per hospital policies

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Bariatric, BiPap monitoring, COVID, CVA, Cardiac Drip Management, DKA patients, High acuity patients, Post cardiac intervention, or Sheath pulls.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing

• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
