Job summary

Incredible Health in Dallas, TX is actively hiring for a Registered Nurse - PCU / Stepdown. The role requires an ADN or higher, an active RN license, and experience in stepdown or high-acuity settings. BLS and ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, or cardiac care.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen equipment and vital sign or blood sugar monitors.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations.

Qualifications
