Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required or equivalent.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license required.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or similar medium-high acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills; EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients; monitor vital signs, IV infusions, and indicators.
• Administer medications and carry out complex treatment plans per orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and others to ensure optimal care.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions; explain use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and monitors.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records per hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
