Job summary

First Choice Nurses is seeking PCU RNs in Virginia for per diem roles with flexible scheduling and fast payment options. Shifts include 7a-7p and 7p-7a, with the freedom to pick up as few as one shift per month and daily/weekly pay options.

Requirements include an active Virginia RN license, 2 years PCU experience in the past 4 years, and current AHA BLS/ACLS. QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within 12 months and COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption are also required.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the last 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge planning.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
