Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to apply the nursing process with broad nursing knowledge in a caring, attentive manner.

The role involves assessing, coordinating, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with the health care team to meet goals of care and clinical paths. A 9k sign-on bonus is offered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Orientation completed per PCU nurse manager and educator.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse teams.
• Competent with Microsoft Windows and internal training processes.
• PCCN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients for physical, emotional, psychosocial and family support.
• Organize and coordinate all aspects of patient care per needs.
• Evaluate progress and adjust care plans with clinical data.
• Collaborate with health care team to plan total patient care.
