Job summary

Riverside Health System in Williamsburg, Virginia is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver resident care under the direction of the Director of Nursing. This full-time day shift role focuses on planning, implementing, and evaluating care to promote positive resident outcomes and collaborate with families and staff.

The RN will assign duties, engage team members, develop plans of care, communicate with providers and families, document changes, and ensure safety, dignity, and quality care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required (Virginia).
• CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Job description

Williamsburg, Virginia Hiring Range $34.40 - $47.30/Hourly Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.

Full Time Days

Works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing, as applicable.

Assesses, plans, implements, and executes delivery of resident care and directs all activities in order to provide quality service to assure positive resident outcomes. Maintains close contact with residents, families and staff while coordinating nursing services with all other disciplines.

• Assigns duties to professional and non-professional staff according to education, training, policy and resident need.
• Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed to assure quality resident care is delivered.
• Develops, implements and evaluates resident plans of care.
• Communicates plan of care to providers, residents, families and staff.
• Identifies changes in condition with proper documentation following the Interact process.
• Demonstrates consistent follow through for positive resident outcomes.
• Utilizes good judgment and specialized skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to manage a typical nursing unit.
• Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required)
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)
