Responsibilities

• Consults and coordinates with the health care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
• Records all care information concisely and accurately in a timely manner.
• Follow relevant safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Participate in orientation and education of staff on an ongoing basis.
• Stocking and restocking medical supplies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the unit or department.
• Communicate with physicians, patients, families, and health care team in person and by phone.
