Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast in Philadelphia seeks a dedicated registered nurse to support patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process. You will develop individualized care plans, collaborate with care partners, and ensure culturally sensitive decisions while delivering compassionate, high-quality nursing care across shifts.

This role requires adherence to evidence-based practice, strong communication, and participation in safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in state of practice.
• Knowledge of patient– and family–centered care and effective communication with diverse patients and families.
• Ability to apply nursing knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Familiarity with health information documentation and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients and families and staff to provide compassionate, coordinated care.
• Partners with patients and families to identify learning needs and provide education.
• Uses information systems to communicate, monitor outcomes, and support clinical decisions.
• Works within inter-professional teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Participates in safety and quality improvement activities.
• Contributes to discharge planning and follow-up care.
