Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process and to coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams. The role requires maintaining patient rights and confidentiality while upholding Mercy's service standards.

Applicants must have graduated from an accredited RN program and hold a current RN license in the hiring state (or compact licensure). Basic Life Support is required, with additional unit-specific certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• One or more unit-specific certifications may be required (see list).
• Physical requirements include lifting 50 pounds, prolonged standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
