Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit. You will coordinate care planning with other disciplines and ensure safe medication administration.

Qualifications

• RN license in NH or compact state.
• BCLS certification or within 30 days of hire; ACLS certification or within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care within assigned unit and coordinate care planning.
• Adhere to hospital policies and ANA standards of practice.
• Ensure safe, timely and accurate medication and IV administration and transcription.
• Mentor and teach new staff and promote critical thinking.
• Perform patient assessments and document findings clearly and accurately.
• Plan and prioritize patient care needs and discharge planning.
