UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care across the continuum from admission to discharge. The role emphasizes clinical expertise, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and adherence to nursing standards to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The position requires Massachusetts RN licensure, BLS, and unit-specific certifications; ACLS/PALS are preferred depending on the department.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of nursing discipline.
• BLS required for all RNs; ACLS/PALS certifications valued.
• BSN preferred for nursing roles.

Responsabilités

• Utilizes the Nursing Process from Admission to Discharge for patient care.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment per procedure.
• Develops and coordinates care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises and coordinates nursing care in the clinical setting.
• Delegates tasks per job description and competency.
• Documents patient care per policy.
• Develops and documents education plans for patient/family.
• Works with other providers to ensure quality care.
• Administers medications and assists physician during procedures.
• Participates in Nursing Governance and quality initiatives.
