Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Illinois for a 36-hour week role within the Patient Coordination Command Center. The position includes 3-12s shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) with orientation and every other weekend commitments.

Qualifications

Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN will provide care; multi-state compact preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Licensure via telehealth/virtual modalities in the state of the client location.
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
Monitor patient conditions and coordinate with the care team to influence outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely EHR documentation.
Follow department policies and participate in professional development and ethics.
