Qualifications

• Licensed as Registered Nurse in Rhode Island or eligible via NCLEX.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required, BSN preferred).
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of life-span nursing care and cultural sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and report deviations from normal status.
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses to treatment.
• Provide basic comfort and emotional support to patients and families.
• Coordinate with health team to achieve patient outcomes.
• Plan for emergencies and modify care plans as needed.
• Supervise and guide LPNs/CNAs when required.
