Job summary

ComForCare in Corpus Christi is seeking a Registered Nurse with supervisory experience to lead home health care services and ensure high-quality client care.

You will evaluate clients, develop care plans, and coordinate with administrators and team members, while maintaining records and ensuring safety.

The role requires an RN license, CPR, reliable transportation, and a commitment to confidentiality, infection control, and QA programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN license.
• 2 years of Home Care experience and 1 year of Supervisory experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
• Knowledge of safety and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Performing client evaluations in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies.
• Developing an individualized care plan for each client.
• Reports client significant changes to the Administrator, authorized client representative and other team members.
• Maintains client records and documentation.
• Delegates tasks to unlicensed personnel based upon their scope of practice where allowable.
• Performs supervisory visits.
• Participates in the competency skill assessment of unlicensed personnel.
• Participates as requested in the agency's Quality Assurance Performance Improvement program.
