Job summary

Mesa View Regional Hospital in Mesquite, NV is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU on a PRN basis with 12-hour shifts. The position offers competitive hourly wages and the opportunity to serve the local community with high-quality perioperative care.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), active Nevada RN license, BLS, PALS, and ACLS. Prior PACU experience is preferred, with certifications through AHA/ARC.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Two years PACU nursing experience preferred.
• Current Nevada RN license.
• Current BLS required; PALS and ACLS required.
• All certifications must be held through AHA or ARC.

Responsibilities

• The PACU Staff Nurse uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate highest quality nursing care.
• As a patient advocate, he/she coordinates the care of the patient through collaboration and appropriate delegation.
• The Nurse provides age‑specific care and teaching to selected patient population(s).
• Monitors and recognizes changes in physiologic status, takes appropriate action based on assessment, and evaluates and documents finding and patient response.
• Interacts frequently with all patient service departments; utilizes interdisciplinary input to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Hours: 12-hour shifts
• Hourly Rate: $37.80 - $47.25 (based on experience)

Job Summary:
