Job summary

HCA HealthONE Rose is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse for PRN shifts in Denver, CO. You will oversee post-surgical/post-procedural patient care, addressing the needs of adults, adolescents, and other age groups as assigned.

This role may rotate to other areas based on competency and staffing needs. Qualifications include CO RN licensure (or multi-state), BLS, ACLS & PALS, BSN preferred, and at least one year PACU experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS & PALS Certifications.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN Preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year PACU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the care of the post surgical/post procedural patient.
• Bring specialized skills to serve specific age groups (adult, adolescent, geriatric, or pediatric).
• Rotate to areas other than the assigned service area, and perform only those duties you have demonstrated competency.
• Oversee and direct the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
