Baptist Downtown is hiring a Registered Nurse for our PACU Team in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time opportunity requires experience in surgical services and critical care, with RN licensure and BLS/ACLS certifications.

The role focuses on comprehensive patient assessment, planning, and collaboration with the care team to ensure optimal recovery in our PACU. Join Baptist Downtown to contribute to quality perioperative care within a faith-based, not-for-profit system.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years Surgical Services Nursing Experience Required.
• 2–3 years Critical Care Nursing Experience Required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required.
• Associate of Science, Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services.
• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case.
