Job summary

LifeBridge Health's Northwest Hospital in Baltimore County is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide direct clinical patient care under the supervision of the unit manager. The nurse will assess, plan, implement age-appropriate care per shift and supervise staff as needed.

Required is a nursing degree with Maryland RN licensure (or eligibility), BLS, ACLS, and PALS. ACLS must be obtained within 2 months of hire and PALS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in nursing with critical care preferred.
• Must have Nursing Degree.
• Current Maryland RN license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required with ACLS within 2 months and PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care under the direction of the unit manager.
• Assess, plan, and implement direct age-appropriate care per shift.
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate care is delegated.
• Support CNO to ensure high quality, safe patient care, staff competency, and resource management.

Summary:
Under the direction of the unit manager, this role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct age-appropriate clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Credential Note:
ACLS is required within 2 months of hire date and PALS required within 6 months of hire date.

Pay Range: $37.15 to $57.58 Based On Experience
