Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, South Carolina, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time Outpatient Wound Care role. The position operates on straight days, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, at a 273-bed acute care facility known for treating heart attack, heart failure, and pneumonia.

The RN will provide safe patient care in the Wound Care Center and lead the healthcare team per hospital standards. Qualifications include a SC nursing license (or compact), current BLS, and NLN-approved RN

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current South Carolina nursing license or compact state license.
• Current BLS Certification (or obtained during orientation).
• Wound Care Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• The RN provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Responsible for patient care in the Wound Care Center.
• Demonstrates organization and planning using hospital and nursing standards.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Previous medical surgical, home health, or wound care experience preferred.
• Current South Carolina nursing license or compact state license.
• Current BLS Certification (or obtained during orientation).
• Wound Care Certification preferred.
