Job summary

Indiana University Health System seeks an experienced RN for our outpatient urology team. The role involves cross-training across clinic operations and telephone triage, building a strong foundation in comprehensive urology care.

The position will transition to a hybrid work model after training, allowing both remote and onsite work. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with no weekends or holidays.)

Qualifications

• RN with at least 1 year of experience.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions may be considered with 2+ years of clinical experience.
• BLS certification required; other ALS may be required per unit.
• Ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction may be required.
• Awareness of legal implications of patient care activities.

Join our growing Outpatient Urology team. The RN will become cross-trained across clinic operations and telephone triage functions, building a strong foundation in comprehensive urology care. This position will transition to hybrid work following the completion of training, allowing team members to work both remotely and onsite.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

No weekends! No holidays!

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
• Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
