Job summary

IU Health seeks an experienced RN for outpatient urology, offering a sign-on bonus for part-time and full-time roles. The RN will be cross-trained across clinic operations and telephone triage, transitioning to a hybrid work model after training. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm with no weekends or holidays.

An ASN is required; a BSN is preferred, and Indiana RN licensure (or NLC) is required. This position emphasizes patient care, legal awareness, and potential for additional life

Qualifications

• ASN required. BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by AHA.
• Additional Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit.
• May be required to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
• Understanding legal implications of patient care activities and RN duties.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train across clinic operations and telephone triage functions.
• Provide care support within outpatient urology; assist clinicians.
• Work schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm with no weekends or holidays.
• Transition to a hybrid work model after training, enabling remote and onsite work.

Overview

Part-time and Full-time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign-on bonus (available through 9/30/2026). This position is also referral eligible.

We are seeking an individual with a minimum of one year of RN experience for this role.

Join our growing Outpatient Urology team. The RN will become cross-trained across clinic operations and telephone triage functions, building a strong foundation in comprehensive urology care. This position will transition to hybrid work following the completion of training, allowing team members to work both remotely and onsite.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

No weekends! No holidays!

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
• Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
