This an exciting opportunity for a triage RN who works well independently. This position will be located at IU Health West in Avon, IN within an IU Health Medical Group multi-specialty clinic. This is an excellent role for a nurse who likes a challenging environment responsible for telephone triage, assessing, planning, and educating our Nephrology patients to ensure we deliver the best care while acting as a liaison between providers and patients.

Full time days. Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30. No weekends. No holidays. No on call.

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
• Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
