Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for our Outpatient Infusion Center. The RN will perform standard nursing duties, administer medications, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate care for infusion patients.

The role requires recent direct patient care RN experience, Virginia RN licensure, BLS within 90 days, and preferred experience with central lines. Weekend and holiday rotations apply.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical area: all Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
