Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Infectious Diseases clinic near Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. The role offers hybrid work after 6 months in the office, with core hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and no weekends or on-call requirements.

The position requires an active Indiana RN license (NLC accepted) and an ASN (BSN preferred). You will support patient care via phone assessments and care coordination, with emphasis on central line

Join a specialized Infectious Diseases team dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Located adjacent to Methodist Hospital, our clinic serves patients requiring central lines with home IV antibiotics. In this role, the RN will play a key part in supporting patient care through phone assessments, and care coordination. Experience with Central Line Management preferred.

Hybrid work opportunities after 6 months in office.

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
• Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
