Job summary

UCSF Health in San Francisco seeks an experienced RN to provide safe, therapeutic care in the Adult OR setting. You will participate in interdisciplinary teams, perform nursing procedures, and assist with overall patient care management across UCSF Health locations.

Call is required and flexibility is essential. The role emphasizes proficiency in open, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery, scrubbing, and circulating duties, with experience across General Surgery, Ortho, Neuro, OHNS, GU, GYN,

Qualifications

• 2-3 years recent Adult Operating Room (OR) RN clinical experience.
• Proficiency in open, laparoscopic and intuitive robotic surgery.
• Proficiency in scrubbing surgical procedures.
• Proficiency in circulating duties; call required.
• Experience in General Surgery, Ortho, Neuro, OHNS, GU, GYN, Breast/Plastics, Endoscopy.
• Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations.
• Excellent verbal and written skills. Must be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work independently and under pressure.
• Basic computer skills and general PC knowledge.
