Responsibilities include:

• Completing admission procedures, including paperwork, patient orientation, and urinalysis collection.
• Searching individuals' belongings upon admission and disposing of forbidden items.
• Administering and reading tuberculosis skin tests.
• Documenting assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Providing direct patient care and monitoring signs of intoxication and withdrawal.
• Managing medication administration and developing treatment plans.
• Offering emotional support and consulting with staff and outside professionals.
• Maintaining professional boundaries and ensuring compliance with healthcare procedures.

Qualifications:

• Unrestricted RN license in New Hampshire.
• Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens.
• Successful criminal background and driving record checks.
• Preferably 1-year experience in detox, emergency, or med-surge nursing.
• Knowledge of medical detox for substance abuse and signs of intoxication and withdrawal.
• Strong communication, leadership, and team skills.
• Ability to perform physical demands and respond to crises.
• Knowledge of addiction medicine placement criteria and relevant laws.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
