Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Day Shift 7a-7p Every Other Weekend Availability

This position is a full-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to work the day shift from 7 am to 7 pm, with every other weekend off.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a residential treatment setting.
• Complete admission procedures, including paperwork, patient orientation, and urinalysis collection.
• Search belongings upon admission and dispose of forbidden items appropriately.
• Administer and interpret tuberculosis skin tests.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, physician’s orders, and progress notes accurately.
• Monitor signs of intoxication and withdrawal.
• Provide evaluation and withdrawal management under supervision.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic work environment in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Manage medication administration and update Medication Records.
• Develop treatment plans collaboratively with patients.
• Offer emotional support and counseling to patients.
• Coordinate with staff and outside professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Unrestricted RN license in New Hampshire.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens certifications.
• Successful background and driving record checks.
• Preferably 1 year of detox, emergency, or med-surge nursing experience.
• Knowledge of substance abuse detoxification, signs, and symptoms of intoxication and withdrawal.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to respond to crises.
• Understanding of addiction medicine and confidentiality laws.
