Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.

• 2 yrs RN perioperative experience preferred; basic computer skills.

The perioperative nurse functions as patient advocate. He/she assesses the surgical environment for potential patient safety concerns and intervenes appropriately while working with the surgical team to facilitate the completion of the surgical procedure.
