1. Completes comprehensive physical and psycho-social assessments of patients; reviews nursing histories to develop patient care plans.
2. Implements patient's written care plan, evaluates response, and adjusts care as necessary. Demonstrates proficiency in direct patient care and technical skills.
3. Administers medications, including IVs, as prescribed; understands drug actions, indications, dosage, and routes.
4. Practices infection control and interprets diagnostic data, understanding legal implications of nursing activities.
