Northwell Health in Sleepy Hollow, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room Scrub/Circulate role. You will provide comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The position is full-time with an hourly pay range of $52 to $90. Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), NYS RN license, BLS, and 1–2 years of OR nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Current New York State RN license required.
• BLS certification required; specialized certifications may be needed.

Responsabilités

• Assess the patient’s physiologic health status.
• Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures.
• Assess gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and neurological health status.
• Determine mobility, sensory deficits, prostheses use, and skin condition.
• Assess level of pain and pain management.
• Communicate and document patient’s physiologic health status and plan of care.
• Elicit perception of medical/nursing care and expectations.
• Develop criteria for measurement of patient outcomes.
• Identify actual/potential patient problems.
• Formulate the plan of care and establish priorities to achieve expected outcomes.

About This Role

What You'll Do

• BLS certification required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
