Job summary

OrthoVirginia is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team across our Virginia network. In this PRN role, you’ll circulate cases, prepare ORs, verify patient details, and collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers to deliver safe, efficient care.

This fast-paced ambulatory setting offers opportunities to support exceptional patient outcomes with no nights, no weekends, and no call.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• OR nursing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing principles.

Responsibilities

• Circulating surgical cases in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic surgery center.
• Preparing operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for scheduled procedures.
• Verifying patient identity, surgical site, and procedure per safety protocols.
