Interventional Pain Management at OrthoVirginia focuses on providing advanced, minimally invasive pain relief procedures to help patients manage chronic pain and improve their quality of life. As a Registered Nurse in the Pain Management Suite at OrthoVirginia, you will play a vital role in providing advanced, non-surgical pain relief options to help patients manage chronic pain and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with a team of dedicated pain management specialists to deliver personalized care tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Essential Duties:
  • Patient Check-In and Preparation: Review medical records, check vital signs, and administer intravenous (IV) fluids or medications as needed.
  • During Procedures: Monitor patients' vital signs, administer sedation, and ensure patient safety. Assist with spinal injections and other interventional pain management procedures.
  • Post-Procedure Care: Observe and monitor patients as they recover from sedation, ensuring stable vital signs and providing necessary care and support.
  • Critical Thinking and Communication: Quickly identify and address any complications or issues during procedures and communicate effectively with the medical team to ensure patient safety.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients about their procedures and post-procedure care, providing instructions on managing pain and any follow-up care needed.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of BSN or ADN program; Registered Nursing License
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
  • At least 2 years of relative experience required.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms.
  • Previous experience in administering and monitoring moderate sedation.
Compensation:

INDOP1 Compensation Range for this position: $38.85 - $58.27. Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
