Role Responsibilities:

• Maintain aseptic technique, ensure a sterile field, assist in procedures, and prep patients for surgery.
• Prepare areas for different procedures.
• Assess patients pre-surgery, ensure understanding of procedures, and conduct 'timeout' protocols with the perioperative team.
• Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource.
• Deliver quality nursing care and promote a positive image of nursing.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience.
• Current RN license in Texas or Multi-State Compact (must obtain Texas license within 90 days if applicable).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CNOR certification preferred.
