Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room to ensure high-quality, efficient care. We support each other as a team, and we seek a phenomenal addition like you who values patient care. Apply now!

What You Will Do In Your Role:

• Understand aseptic technique and apply it to maintain a sterile field, assist in procedures, or prep patients for surgery.
• Demonstrate knowledge of areas needing preparation for different procedures.
• Assess patients prior to surgery and ensure they understand the procedure, conducting a “timeout” with the perioperative team.
• Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the Surgical Services team.
• Accountable for delivering quality nursing care and promoting a positive image of nursing.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an RN in an Operating Room setting.
• Current RN license in Texas or Multi-State Compact; employees with a compact license must obtain Texas RN license within 90 days.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CNOR certification is preferred.
