Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room - Inpatient. The role is full-time with weekend and holiday rotations, based at a major academic medical center serving Michigan.

The department emphasizes evidence-based practice and professional nursing standards to drive superior patient care. Applicants should have graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred, with Michigan licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
• Every other weekend and Holiday Rotations
