Job summary

SCA Health in Kissimmee, Florida is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room to support perioperative care and patient outcomes. You will promote the mission and work within a multidisciplinary team to assess patient status and develop individualized care plans throughout the perioperative episode.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, state licensure in good standing, and BLS/ACLS certification (PALS if pediatric care is included).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification if pediatric care is included in facility scope of services.
