Job summary

SCA Health in Mokena, IL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support perioperative care and drive patient outcomes across the care team.

You will assess patients, develop perioperative plans, and collaborate with physicians, surgeons and nurses to uphold safety and quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site role with growth opportunities within our network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• One year OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is provided.
• Perioperative nursing certification preferred.

• One year of OR and/or medical / surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.

• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advance Life support (PALS)course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.
