Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room in Kissimmee, FL. This role focuses on perioperative patient care within a values-driven team dedicated to safe, high-quality surgical outcomes.

The RN will assess patients, develop individualized perioperative plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless perioperative care and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• PALS required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope within 90 days.
• Perioperative nursing certification preferred.

• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advance Life support (PALS) course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.
