Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando is seeking an RN to conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and administer treatments in a team-based hospital setting. The role emphasizes collaboration with staff to optimize patient outcomes and patient education to support informed self-care.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred) with RN licensure and BLS certification, and experience in an acute care setting is desired.

Job Description

• Up to $12,500 Sign-on Bonus and $3,000 Relocation available for eligible candidates (see terms below)
• Terms: 12-month Employment Contract Required for Sign-On Sign-on Eligibility: Applicable experience required. Internal Candidates and Rehires within 12 months are not eligible. Relocation Eligibility: Must live 50 miles outside of campus address. Schedule: FT Shift: Days with call requirement Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance. Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
